About

The BEAP Lab is part of the Mediterranean Marine and Environmental Research Center (CMIMA) in Barcelona. This building is shared between our institute, the Institute of Evolutionary Biology (IBE), and the Institute for Marine Sciences (ICM), which is home to numerous researchers with whom we collaborate.

The Institute for Evolutionary Biology is a joint institute between Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). IBE is also part of the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB), a research hub hosting seven independent research institutes and shared scientific platforms and services.
